Jonny Zweck
Jonny Zweck is an Australian author who writes character driven horror that gives a fresh take on classic tropes in far flung places. Born in Papua New Guinea to missionary parents, he made his way to Adelaide, Australia, via regional New South Wales. He is an award-winning writer and academic, who holds a PhD in Creative Writing from The University of Adelaide. He recently shortlisted for the 2024 Penguin Literary Prize, and his short fiction has listed for The Best Australian Yarn, The Furphy Prize, and Wollongong Writers Festival Prize. His fiction has been published in The West Australian as well as in collections including The Furphy Anthology 2020.
